Peter Hannigan - RIP
It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you of the passing of Peter Hannigan from a recent illness.
Peter was the lifeblood of the Irish Society and was beloved by all its members and those from the various clubs that used the Irish Society. It will be a much poorer place without him
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, Ellen, Jacqui, Shelley, Liam and Lisa.
If you'd like to pay your respects, the funeral is on Friday 13th Jan at St Anne's Church, Emmet St, Newtown at 10.30
Burial at Whenua Tapu cemetery (Just after Plimmerton on SH1) at 1pm
Messages can be left to the family in Peter's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz

New Zealand selection of the New Zealand Rose of Tralee:
When: 12th & 13th June
Where: Horticultural Hall in Lower Hutt
The Hutt Valley Irish Society is hosting the New Zealand selection of the New Zealand Rose of Tralee on the 12th and 13th June. Forget about the cold weather and come and have a great night out - get a table of friends together and come to .... THE ROSE OF TRALEE BALL at the Horticultural Hall in Lower Hutt 7PM start Tickets are $80 per head which includes a meal and beer and wine. The band for the night is Shenanigans Tickets are available through www.roseoftralee.co.nz or by calling Cathy on 569-8484
NOTE: Tickets need to be purchased in advance for catering purposes
