We are intending to open up for the final on 18/19 September. Further details to come and check out posts on our facebook page.
:You may already be aware that we are hosting the 2016 Annual National Feis. We are very excited about this and is mainly held at St Pat's College Kilbirnie again.
This major event, features Irish dancing, music, singing, speech, oratory and many sporting events such as bowls, darts, Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and more.
To make this a successful event we need volunteers for a wide range of jobs over the 3 days including set-up on Friday evening, clear-up, car park attendants, door attendants to list a few! If you can at all, please offer up an hour or two of your time to help us out and we will draw up a roster.
We are also seeking sponsor's, perhaps a business to sponsor a miniature trophy, these are for various events and cost $30 which includes engraving. Please let me know if you keen to sponsor one.
A full syllabus will be available shortly but in the interim, here's a list of what we're planning should we get relevant interest for the competition. Be great if all our kids could participate in something. Plenty for Adults too!
To assist in our planning, please let us know asap if your keen to participate in any event:
